The Maryland Student Legislature is excited to welcome new members of the Board of Directors and Advisory Board. On March 23, the Board of Directors of MSL, Inc. elected Alina Philip and Ethan Harden to its membership. Their terms will begin on July 1, 2024.
- Ethan Harden is an MSL alum serving as the Director of Risk, Environmental Health, and Safety at McDaniel College and an Adjunct Instructor at Stevenson University.
- Alina Philip is an MSL alum serving as the Deputy Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at McDaniel College.
In addition to our new Board members, several new members of the MSL community have joined our Advisory Board:
- Rachele Fortier is an MSL alum and a Philadelphia-based political consultant.
- Hon. Byron E. Macfarlane is an MSL alum serving his fourth term as the Register of Wills for Howard County, Maryland.
- Genie Massey is the Coordinator of Programs for the Maryland Civic Education Coalition.
- NaToya Mitchell is an MSL alum serving as a lecturer at Morgan State University and the advisor to the Morgan State MSL Delegation.
- Deli Okafor is a Public Engagement Officer for Maryland Comptroller Brooke Lierman.
- Garrett Zahner is an MSL alum serving as the Coordinator of Special Projects at the Republican National Committee.
