State Government

The State Government is responsible for providing the organizational and administrative direction of the Maryland Student Legislature. The State Government is presided over by the Governor and in their absence the Lieutenant Governor.

The Council of State serves as the Executive Committee of the Maryland Student Legislature's State Government. The members of the Council of State are: the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, Secretary of State, Speaker of the Assembly and Comptroller. All members of the Council of State are voting members of the MSL State Government.

Delegation Chairperson's:

Active Delegations and DCP's
Any accredited institution of higher education in the State of Maryland shall be eligible for delegation membership within the Maryland Student Legislature. Every delegation must have a chairperson and secretary. The Delegation Chairperson from each school is a voting member of the Maryland Student Legislature's State Government.
